The Cutting Room Floor
The Cutting Room Floor is a site dedicated to unearthing and researching unused and cut content from video games. From debug menus, to unused music, graphics, enemies, or levels, many games have content never meant to be seen by anybody but the developers — or even meant for everybody, but cut due to time/budget constraints.
Feel free to browse our collection of games and start reading. Up for research? Try looking at some stubs and see if you can help us out. Just have some faint memory of some unused menu/level you saw years ago but can't remember how to access it? Feel free to start a page with what you saw and we'll take a look. If you want to help keep this site running and help further research into games, feel free to donate.

Jazz Jackrabbit 2 was a huge step up from its predecessor, but it wasn't a huge financial success by any means thanks to it being a 2D platformer released at a time when 3D games were all the rage. However, it did gain a cult following and has become something of a platforming classic for some PC gamers.
It also has a fair amount of hidden content lying within, ranging from unused bosses to several unused graphics.

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is a game based on the 1994 movie. However, the Genesis version has inferior visuals and music compared its SNES counterpart, on top of the unforgiving difficulty and flawed game design.
Pictured is a test level found only in the Genesis version that can be accessed by entering TEST.LEV in the password screen. Two large orange dinosaurs can be seen walking around this level, along with two clones of Frankenstein. The SNES version also has a password that allows you to see an orange dinosaur roam around.
